Police detain a supporter of India’s main opposition Congress party during a demonstration on Monday in the capital, New Delhi, after party leader Rahul Gandhi was disqualified as an MP by the parliament. Gandhi lost his seat after a court in Gujarat convicted him and sentenced him to two years in jail for comments he made in connection with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
